Inside the apartment you will find a red ‘Book of the House’ which contains lots of local information.

Shops and local services. Within a few minutes of the flat you have a wide choice. A good food store, an excellent baker for those breakfast croissants, a chemist, house-hold store, internet and photocopy, hair dresser, physiotherapist and masseur, dentist, wine bodega and cafes. We are very well served, just locally.  The best supermarket is probably Mercadona in the town centre.

Parking. There is a car park just outside and another larger one across the road, by the new 1000 seat Concert Palace.

Cleaning and washing. Susan has looked after our flat for many years and will have it all ready for you. She is a helpful English lady from Kent. Who has lived many years in Altea. Please leave your linen on leaving, for her, by about 10 am. The flat is self-service and is not priced for maid-service: so please leave it as clean and tidy as you would like to find it. But you may wish to ask Susan to clean the day before you leave – she will not over-charge. Telephone – 657 250 697

Altea also boasts its own English Library in the Bar Miramar, in the town centre by the sea, from where you can borrow books and DVD’s.
